LOFTUS, Anthony (Tony VE3FRK) – Peacefully at home in Sharon on Thursday, March 5, 2009, in his 76th year. Formerly of Manchester, England. Beloved husband and best friend of Margaret for 52 years. Dad to Carlo (Chris), Theresa, Mark (Carolyn), Monica (Randy), Peter (deceased), Stephanie (Gary), Louise (Colen), and Kevin (Natalie). Loving Papa to Jacob, Allison, Zachary, Anthony, Lucas, Bryce, Michael, Sarah, Angela, Jacqueline, Shannon, Rachel, Emma, Hayley, Joel, Chloe, and great-grandad to Molly. Member of the York Region Amateur Radio Club; and the Keswick and Mount Albert Radio Controlled Airplane Club. Retired York University employee of 27 years; and past president of CUPE 1356. Friends may call at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 17955 Leslie St. (corner of Stellar), on Wednesday at 11 a.m., followed by cremation.
