Club Trailer
A fully equipped trailer was a key component of the club’s Ontario Trillium Foundation grant project to provide emergency and public service communications in York Region. The trailer is the culmination of many hundreds of hours work by club members and was unveiled to the public at the York Region Emergency Preparedness Fair in Newmarket on May 7th, 2013.

The York Region Amateur Radio Club supports the citizens of York Region by providing communication support for outdoor fundraising events like walkathons, bicycle races, and parades, in addition to vital backup communications in times of emergency or disaster.
If your organization could benefit from having competent volunteers provide communications for your event, please get in touch with one of our team leaders.
