At the last two meetings it has been mentioned that someone has been jamming one of our repeaters by transmitting continuously for long periods of time. I have listened, off and on, on 147.225 but I have not heard the jammer. Would it be possible for someone in the know to post more details in this forum?
Which repeater (i.e. what frequency)?
What mode (FM? Digital?)
Typical time of day and day of week?
It seems to me that if more of us can hear the interference, we will be in a better position to do something about it.

It comes and goes. It is usually recommended to ignore it. Continue the QSO if you can otherwise sign off like you would normally. If you do experience any jamming, we'd like to know date/time/duration, nature of jamming, whether you can hear it on the repeater input frequency (and if so, what was the strength and your location), and any unusual or identifiable characteristics (background noise, accent, mispronunciations, unusual words, etc.).
